Comprehensive SEO Case Study for iqos-terea.com

Six months ago, Clinet China tasked me with a high-budget SEO project for their website, iqos-terea.com. The primary goals were to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and boost conversion rates. My approach began with comprehensive on-page optimization, which included detailed keyword research to identify high-value terms that were integrated into key areas such as meta descriptions, headers, and product pages. Long-tail keywords were also incorporated into content to capture niche search intent, driving more targeted traffic. Content enhancements included regular blog updates with SEO-friendly topics aimed at increasing engagement and relevance.

On the technical SEO side, I focused on improving site speed, optimizing for mobile users, and ensuring proper crawlability by search engines. I also implemented structured data, which enhanced search engine visibility by providing detailed information about the site’s content. Enhancing user experience was another priority, achieved by improving site navigation and internal linking, making it easier for visitors to find relevant content, which reduced bounce rates and increased session duration. These combined efforts helped improve iqos-terea.com’s rankings across multiple keywords.

The off-page SEO strategy concentrated on building high-quality backlinks. Through targeted outreach to relevant industry websites, blogs, and influencers, the total number of backlinks grew by 200%, from 200 to 600, while referring domains expanded from 50 to 150. This link-building strategy significantly improved the site’s Domain Authority (DA), which rose from 30 to 45. Social media platforms like Weibo and WeChat were used to promote content and drive traffic. Local SEO efforts further enhanced the website’s visibility in local search results, particularly in China, by optimizing listings on Google My Business and Baidu.

Overall, the campaign delivered impressive results. Organic traffic grew by 120%, from 25,000 to 55,000 monthly visits, and keyword rankings for top terms climbed into the top 3 positions. Long-tail keywords also saw dramatic improvements, landing in the top 10. Conversion rates more than doubled, increasing from 1.2% to 2.5%, with monthly conversions rising from 300 to 800. These results, along with the DA improvement and backlink growth, solidified iqos-terea.com’s presence in search engines and set the foundation for long-term growth.
